Many of us spend so much of our time thinking about what we would do if we had more time. The world has slowed down for a little while, and when we least expected it, time has become more plentiful. That’s a gift that some of us can take or leave. Some people may need to take a break, and others will embrace this as a chance to do things we have dreamed about or put off in the past.
From Chaos to Clarity
Image Media began in the midst of chaos in 2008. During the recession, I decided not to be a victim of the circumstances and chose to open my own business. It was simultaneously frightening and exhilarating. The business has evolved and grown to meet the needs of my clients, and I’m grateful to everyone who has been part of this entrepreneurial journey.
Shifting Our Purpose
In 2005, I published a non-fiction book that was written during a difficult time in my life. The experience of researching, interviewing, writing and going through the necessary steps to get it self published gave me a goal to focus on. It also became a catalyst for getting me through that period and moving forward.
Fifteen years later, we’re all facing a different kind of chaos that has been wrought by a worldwide pandemic, much of which is out of our control. Thankfully, my virtual services have been established for a long time, and I’m blessed to be be able to continue working with small business owners who need them.
The time to write and publish my second book is now.
Whether it’s a personal challenge or one that is forced on us because of outside events, major transitions present opportunities to shift in a new direction. How we choose to pivot can make a powerful and lasting impact on our future.
